I love this Funlux camera, its AWESOME!! For the price and what you get, you can’t get much better! The sound is great, you can talk and hear whats’ going on, you get notifications on your cell phone if sound or movement is detected and the picture is so clear. It’s color during the day and black and white at night. The viewing area is great too. it covers a big area for such a small camera. I’m currently using it to watch my furbaby during the day. He doesn’t ever get into any trouble, he just sleeps all day, but it’s nice to have the satisfaction of being able to check on him throughout the day and make sure he’s ok. You can watch from a computer or cell phone from MeShare.com. At work I minimize the picture on my desktop and can keep an eye on him all day, And another nice plus is, on my cellphone I can zone in real close, which would be good if you need some kind of detail on something. It shows in HD too. And the setup was unbelievably easy and I’m NOT a tech person. It took me about 5 min to set it all up including hooking up to the Wi-Fi network. The only thing I don’t like about it is the cord has to be plugged into the camera and it’s not a very long cord and I have it on a dresser which every time I walk by the camera moves because it’s so small and light, so I have to keep fixing it to the right angle. I hate to be picky, but I wish it was cordless too! I guess nothing is PERFECT. But overall, I think if you get this, you will NOT be disappointed especially for this price and the shipping was super fast too!!

This is the 4th Funlux 720p HD camera I have purchased. Installing the cameras was plain & simple and very adjustable for proper angles of view. Once positioned, I have not had any of them change. The power cord is adequately long for installation. Networking each camera was very simple as the instructions simply detailed. Once networked, you can view the cameras on a multitude of devices. I found the MeShare app was the best phone app over the Funlux app. Both similar, but the Meshare had more options. The camera’s sensitivity for sound detection can be changed to your liking in options. You can create policies for different days and times of day to have alerts on/off and even have the camera shut off. Night vision works great. Very clear. You can view on multiple devices at the same time. If you lose power, the cameras connect back on their own when they receive power again and internet is restored; no reconfiguration needed again. Via phone or mobile device while viewing live, you can take a snapshot or short vid which you can download and save to your own storage. The pics & vids captured via sound or motion can also be saved to your storage. You can listen & speak via these cameras as well. I have no cons about these cameras. My next purchase will be 2 outdoor cameras from Funlux. These Funlux cameras are a great value for the inexpensive price.

This is the first security camera I bought, I was interested in trying this one because its price and the two way audio feature, the idea was to put it in the front door so I can see if someone gets home while I’m away. I must say that the feature impressed me a lot, I’m able to say that the people visiting is not aware that I’m not home. On the other side, the image resolution is not the best, maybe is the position I placed it that gets a lot of light from the front, but still on other places it gets a little blurry, I’m still building the front wall so I have not placed this camera in its final position but I think the image quality is not that good for long distance (more than 6 to 10 feet) and that is why I don’t put the fifth star in this review, but still a very good front door camera comparing the prices that you get for other “solutions”.

The app works very well if you only have this camera, I added another system (Zmodo’s NVR) and I got in trouble because I was no longer able to use the audio option on the app, I contacted the support and they add the camera manually, they said it was a bug in the app and that they will try to fix it. I’ve not updated the app to the latest version because they have some very bad reviews, but the previous version works really well. And this is another reason I’ve not given the 5 star review.

This is a great camera if you are looking to keep an eye on things at home without breaking the bank. We purchased it so we could monitor our home while away on a recent trip. The set up was a little tricky but after about 20 minutes I got it going. I had initially put the camera in the spot I wanted it but couldn’t get it to connect to our wireless network. I put the camera directly next to my wireless router and finally it connected. I moved it back to the intended spot (away from router) and thankfully it worked perfectly. We were away from home about 4 days and the camera worked fine the whole time except for about 3 hours one morning when it went offline. We aren’t sure what caused the problem, power outage maybe, but I reset the router remotely and the camera came right back online. The App that goes with this camera is simple and easy to use. The picture/video was clear, day and night. It alerts you to any sound or movement and keeps the record for 24 hours. I believe you can buy an upgrade for alert storage but haven’t really looked into all those features yet. I will say the power cord is a little small making it somewhat difficult to set up the camera in a good spot depending on the proximity of your outlets. Due to time constraints I ended up using an extension cord. Since I only plan to use the camera occasionally it wasn’t a big deal. If you intend to have it up permanently you may have to get creative. This is the reason I took off one star. But for the price you really can’t beat this camera.

worked great at the beginning for several months, now i can’t get it to connect to anything! Customer service is not real easy to get a response from and when they do respond they just keep giving me websites to log into, which was the problem in the first place, cant log in, so now they have offered me to send it back… will keep you posted.

still haven’t heard back from them, website (funlux & zmodo) wont allow me to login, I just have a worthless camera now!!
